crossfit_forgingCrossFit classes consist of constantly varied, high-intensity functional movements for people of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Our classes are designed to help improve physical well-being and cardiorespiratory fitness in a professional and encouraging environment.







Fit Kids is a strength and conditioning program that is specifically designed for kids and early teens (ages 5-13) to help  them initiate a love for fitness. We begin by building a community of like minded individuals, where support is constant and friendships are built.

Classes run for approximately 45 minutes and include an exciting warm up, skill development, fun workouts where children learn effective exercise skills, functional movements for all around fitness, and end with an exciting game to remind them that fitness should always be fun.

Safety and effectiveness are  first and foremost in our programming! We teach proper form and mechanics to insure that the children are physically prepared for any and all contingencies they may go through, while embracing all the components of physical fitness (muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, body composition, flexibility, agility, balance, coordination, power, speed, and reaction time).

Fit Kids is meant to be fun for all ages. Fun means we provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which means less childhood obesity and all-around better health for our children.  We make it attainable for all of the participants by engaging them on a high level right from the beginning of the class. We believe this helps to shape children’s lives by relating fun and enjoyment to fitness, therefore changing their course before adulthood. We also believe this helps to empower children, becoming more well-rounded with an improved self perception and confidence, which carries over to other facets of their life.

Fit Kids uses minimal equipment, and can be programmed and scaled for all kids of different levels as the needs of second graders and high-school varsity wrestlers differ by degree and not kind.
